What is the new 'Help Me Eat' group all about?
I don’t know about y’all but my experience with anxiety is not gentle. Anxiety does not go for the minor mishaps that may happen. No no no... anxiety goes for the jugular!
Can you relate to any of these:
Catastrophic future tripping
The worst possible scenario
Intrusive, racing thoughts
When it comes to attempting to follow some sort of structure in nourishing your body, anxiety is a major impeding factor in meeting that goal. Not only are the mental components of anxiety exhausting- the physical ramifications can be detrimental too; nausea, trembling, sweating, racing heartbeat- not a lovely combination conducive to an enjoyable meal or snack experience.

What is in this food?
What does this mean about me that I’m about to eat this?
What will this do to my body?
I am going to feel <insert scary emotion> if I eat this!
How will I have to compensate for eating this?
What am I eating later?
What am I not eating later?
What are they thinking about me/my body?
